  • Advise the employer or any person in charge of a place of work on the measures to be taken in the interests of the safety, health and environment of the persons employed in the place of work as per Safety, Health and Environment system, procedure practices, as so defined in the Safety, Health and Environment Management System which is based on Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA 1994), Factories & Machinery Act (FMA 1967), Environment Quality Act (EQA 1974) and other statutory obligations Local Authorities, Government Department and Agencies.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct regular internal audits, meeting, awareness briefings, awareness trainings, induction and other programs.
  • Inspect the place of work to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substances, appliances or process or any description of manual labour used in the place of work, is of such nature liable to cause bodily injury to any person working in the place of work.
  • Ensure fire prevention plan is implemented and fire prevention equipment is adequate.
  • Monitoring site security control to prevent public access.
  • Implement and managing hazard identifications, risk assessments and risk control measures.
  • Assist Safety, Health and Environment Officer to investigate any accident, near miss accident, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which has happened in the place of work.
  • Prepare and submitting the safety, health and environment report timely to head of department, corporate management and client as per company management.
  • Assist the employer of the safety, health and environment committee in organizing and implementing safety, health and environment programs at the place of work.
  • Assist the safety, health and environment committee in any inspection of the place of work for the purpose of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with the Act or any regulations made under the Act.
  • Carry out any other instruction made by employer or any person in charge of the place of work or any matters pertaining to safety, health and environment of the place of work.
  • Perform other relevant duties as and when directed by Safety, Health and Environment Officer from time to time.
  • Any other adhoc task assigned by superior.
Contract length: 12 months

Salary:
RM3, RM4,500.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:
