Product Engineer Wanted for Mohawk Industries Mohawk Industries, a leading global flooring manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Product Engineer for its Wood & Laminate division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing process development and be proficient in leading cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: * Participate in product and process innovation projects, developing knowledge and skills to lead projects * Conduct trials in manufacturing plants to determine feasibility and cost impact of new products * Collaborate with vendors to develop new materials and capabilities * Implement new technologies in US manufacturing plants * Lead new product sample creation and provide technical design support to the Design Team * Oversee the new product development process to ensure operational efficiency and customer requirements Requirements: * Four-year engineering degree, preferably Mechanical or Materials engineering * 2-5 years' work experience in manufacturing process development within the consumer goods market * Previous experience working in high volume manufacturing and/or wood products is a plus Desirable Skills: * Analytical problem-solving and data collection skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to lead and integrate cross-functionally and cross-culturally * Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Company Overview: Mohawk Industries is a vertically integrated flooring manufacturer with a global presence.
