Reporting to: Quality ManagerSole Contributor roleBased in Johor the role Collaborate with EO Sourcing team to finalize suitable suppliers based on quality, capability, services, and regulatory requirements.Implement thorough supplier qualification processes, including vendor audits, material testing, and compliance assessments for new vendors and periodic maintenance for existing ones.Track the quality performance of new components during the assessment phase, liaising with suppliers for corrective actions and smooth transition to mass production.Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluation (QBR) to review supplier performance regularly.Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to establish robust manufacturing processes through effective supplier management.Develop procedures for new purchased components and materials, providing engineering support for receiving inspection.Initiate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and handle non-conformity issues, including following up on 8D reports from suppliers for quality complaints and verifying corrective action implementation.Engage in cost reduction projects related to optimizing vendor selection and qualification. the experience Diploma or Degree in an engineering field required.At least 2 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience in a manufacturing setting, covering QA systems, processes, and audit requirements comprehensively.Proficient in ISO9001 standards, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and audit procedures.skills no additional skills required
