Account Executive

Ensure excess cash is managed to maximize earning potential.
- Implement and review financial controls and policies.
- Analyze financial and management reports as and when required.
- Employ adequate internal control procedures to ensure correct authorization for payment procedures.
- Manage internal and external audits when they occur.
- Provide administrative support to Management with reference to policy enforcement, business advice and operational assistance.
- Maintains an awareness of local laws, rules and regulations.
- Provides safekeeping, including proper storage and access for all contracts, leases and other financial records.
- Ensure all accounts are reviewed and reconciled on monthly basic.
- Ensure that the work flows of the finance department are constantly maintained.
- Specially reviews the accounts payable balance to ensure accuracy and proposes any follow up action.
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliation.
- Review and prepare input in the general ledger from various sources.
- Review food and beverages control reconciliations and journal (if applicable).
- Review accounts payable / inventory interface (if applicable).
- Prepare month end journals, balance sheet record and identify and reconcile all items therein.
- Perform payroll audit.
- Maintain a record of all hotel contracts, agreements and leases.
- Review the work of the account assistance.
- Understand the purchasing policy of the hotel and be able to implement the policy in its entirety.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
