**Responsibilities**:
Develop and execute creative menus featuring Australian cuisine, emphasizing freshness, quality, and seasonality.
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Provide food costing analysis to ensure profitability while maintaining high standards of quality.
Source and establish relationships with reliable suppliers for fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Create proposals for seasonal menus and special events, incorporating culinary trends and customer preferences.
Conduct comprehensive training programs for kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination for events and special requests.
**Requirements**:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary role, with a focus on Western Cuisine, specifically Australian dishes.
Proven track record of creating innovative menus and successfully managing kitchen operations in a high-volume setting.
Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of flavor profiles, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
Proficient in food costing, budgeting, and inventory management.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff, management, and suppliers.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
