About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Grant Data Analyst to join our team at Micron Technology, Inc. As a key member of our Grants Management team, you will play a critical role in supporting business partners and stakeholders in using data to inform operational and programmatic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Grant Data Management: Extract, track, and report on grant-related information, including grant assets and other claimable items.
  2. Grant Reporting: Prepare and maintain grant reports, and related documentation, to ensure data quality and compliance with grant funding and reporting requirements.
  3. Data Analysis: Analyze operations issues, evaluate alternatives, and develop recommendations and strategies to improve grant compliance processes.
  4. Business Intelligence: Modify existing reports and/or develop new reports by analyzing databases, data sources, and structures for the benefit of users.
  5. Compliance Monitoring: Develop monitoring tools and reports to ensure compliance with grant funding and reporting requirements.
  6. Data Visualization: Assist in design and development of data visualizations to support grant activities.
  7. Data Extraction: Define and extract data to support grant activities.
  8. Training and Support: Provide relevant training to internal customers and peers on data management and analysis.
  9. Collaboration: Connect with various business partners and finance analysts on the data structure and provide support to various partners, such as grant management for grant-related activities.
  10. Data Quality: Ensure data quality by advising on data structure for new processes as they are built.
  11. Presentations: Present grant information to Finance Management and highlight challenges on grants data to collaborators and address risk and concern.
Requirements
  1. Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and visualization.
  2. SAP & Ariba Experience: Experience with SAP and Ariba systems, highly desirable.
  3. Data Analysis & Problem-Solving: Experience in data analysis and result-oriented problem-solving.
  4. Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
  5. Quantitative Skills: Exceptional quantitative problem-solving skills, fluency with data management tools.
  6. Deadline Management: Ability to work under strict deadlines in a constantly evolving environment.
  7. Complex Problem-Solving: Ability to think broadly and connect-the-dot on complex matters.
  8. Change Management: Ability to lead change sensitively and in a collaborative manner.
  9. Communication Skills: Strong communications skills, with ability to translate complex data concepts to non-technical and/or executive-level staff.
Education & Experience
  1. Relevant Experience: At least 6 years of working experience in a relevant field, including data mining, management, and analysis.
  2. Data Management Experience: Experience in developing and analyzing complex reports, highly preferred.
  3. Background in Analytics: Background in analytics, statistics, information management, financial/business analysis, or related fields, preferred.
  4. Finance Systems Knowledge: Strong knowledge on finance systems, including forecasting tools, CAPEX tools, data extraction, automation, RPA, and accounting practices.
  5. Grant Data Management Experience: Grant data management experience, preferred.
