Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities, including:

  1. Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and equipment, ensuring that all necessary consumables and spare parts are readily available.
  2. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of production and laboratory equipment.
  3. Facilities and Utilities: Collaborate with the facilities team to maintain a safe and clean working environment, including utilities and building maintenance.
  4. Financial Management: Develop and manage the budget for the maintenance department, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.
  5. Quality and Safety: Ensure that all machinery and facilities meet safety and quality standards, and that employees adhere to operating procedures and protocols.
  6. Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to management on downtime and major repair works, and communicate business and technical needs to operating personnel.
  7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce variability, and enhance employee safety, and implement changes as needed.
  8. Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to junior engineers, and collaborate with the validation team to develop and maintain process optimization and validation programs.
  9. Validation and Compliance: Create and execute validation packages for equipment qualification and software validation, and ensure that process techniques align with corporate goals and quality policy.
  10. Documentation and Procedures: Develop and maintain process documentation and operating instructions, and ensure that all procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Education: A degree in an Engineering field.
  2. Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Engineering, preferably in a maintenance or production environment.
