Job Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, coordinate with end users, provide second-tier technical support.
  • Work with global team members to ensure that the ticketing queue is managed correctly, and tickets are being actioned in a timely manner.
  • Look after the day-to-day operation, support, maintenance, and monitoring of Core Infrastructure Services.
  • Work with the Infrastructure Delivery Team and other business tech functions to deliver new services into operations, assisting with the transition of new policies, procedures, and associated training plans for database services and platform administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
  • Be an integral part of the global virtual teams, ensuring that all topics are being worked on proactively.
  • Department-related work will be required out of hours with the possibility of on-call support in the future.
Requirements
  • Fluency in English and any additional Asian language is valued.
  • Must be self-motivated but able to operate within a team environment to deliver a professional support service.
  • A reliable and responsible attitude and understanding of the importance of the job - with particular regard to confidentiality, data integrity, security and disaster recovery.
  • Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently to all levels of users within the organization.
  • Able to perform analysis and deliver a solution in a methodical and timely manner.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar technical role.
  • Windows Server administration (Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2019).
  • Windows Virtual Desktop (or other VDI solutions).
  • Active Directory & GPOs / DNS / DHCP / TCPIP.
  • Scripting using Powershell.
  • Cloud solutions (Azure, Exchange Online, O365, Cloud Backup & DR).
  • Monitoring solutions (Nagios, SCOM, etc.).
  • Server Network Administration (DNS, Active Directory, DHCP).
Desirable Professional Skills
  • Microsoft certifications (preferred).
  • ITIL certification.
  • Any other technical certification will be an asset.
