About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Software Engineer (Android) to join our team at Pine Labs Pvt. Ltd. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Development: Design and build high-quality, user-friendly Android applications that meet the needs of our customers.
  2. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, to define, design, and ship new features.
  3. API Integration: Work with outside data sources and APIs to integrate data into our applications.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  5. Bug Fixing and Optimization: Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  6. Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
  3. Android Development: Proven working experience in Android app development.
  4. Published Applications: Have published at least one original Android app.
  5. Programming Skills: Experience with Strong OOP, Java, and Kotlin.
  6. Android SDK: Experience with Android SDK.
  7. Remote Data Access: Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
  8. Third-Party Libraries and APIs: Experience with third-party libraries (Coroutine, Rxjava, Data Binding, Dependency Injection, Networking, Image Processing) and APIs.
  9. Mobile Landscape and Trends: Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures (MVVM or VIPER), trends, and emerging technologies.
  10. Mobile Development Life Cycle: Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  11. Versioning Tools: Experience with versioning tools such as Gitlab, Github.
  12. CI/CD: Experience with CI / CD.
  13. Unit Testing: Experience with Unit Test libraries (Espresso, Mockito).
  14. Software Development Life Cycle: Working in Software Development Life Cycle environment such as agile or scrum.
  15. Payment Gateway: Experience with payment gateway is an advantage.
  16. Huawei Mobile Service: Experience in Huawei Mobile Service is an advantage.
