Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our team at Link Compliance. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance function, including statutory and management reporting, financial planning and analysis, taxation, compliance, treasury, and corporate matters.
  • Manage corporate tax matters, reviewing tax computations and corresponding processes.
  • Review and monitor the financial positions and performance of the company.
  • Oversee monthly consolidated group accounts, financial and management reports, quarterly reports, and yearly audited accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with listing requirements.
  • Manage the company's financial requirements, preparing, reviewing, and presenting quarterly and year-end financial results, annual budgets, interim profits, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Develop and implement effective financial controls, risk management strategies, accounting practices, and internal audit procedures.
  • Liaise with internal management teams, external parties such as auditors, lawyers, bankers, tax agents, and relevant authorities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in accounting or finance with professional qualifications like ICAEW, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or 10-15 years in a similar role, preferably in logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of MFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent people management, leadership, mentoring skills, and ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, results-driven, analytical problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, general ledger, consolidation of group accounts, tax, and treasury functions.
  • Fluent in English, organized, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
