**Requirement**:

- Must possess a valid Green Book certification issued by the Malaysian Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in the construction industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Malaysian OSH regulations, including OSHA 1994 (CDM Regulations 2024)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to promote a culture of safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate safety reports.
- Oversee, plan, organize, coordinate, administer and direct all aspects of HSE.
- Ensure that safety standards are maintained and continually seek ways to improve safety standards. Establish and ensure implantation of best safety practices.
- Advise Management on all matters pertaining to safety and health including compliance with Legislation's on safety and health
- Provide information, technical assistance and interpretations of OSHA and company's OSHE standards for the employees and subcontractors
- Perform regular safety inspection to identify various hazards and take necessary precaution measures and to conduct safety briefings and training
- Implement safety policies and procedures at sites and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate and liaise with relevant authorities such as DOSH, DOE and Health Department
- Responsible on daily site activity and reporting to the immediate superior.
- Maintain relevant safety reports, records and certificates required under the Act.
- Investigate and report all reportable accidents: internally to relevant persons, and externally to the relevant authorities
- Ensure all the highlight issue by main contractor is all in order and must be rectify before the due date as given;
- Member of safety committee with main contractor,
- Carry out any other ad hoc tasks assigned to you which the management deems fit and necessary.
