Qc Inspector

**Job Purpose**:
To ensure that products meet the required quality standards through inspection and testing, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, and company procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inspection & Testing**:
1. Inspect raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality specifications.

2. Conduct visual, mechanical, and/or chemical tests to verify product quality.

3. Document inspection results and prepare reports on findings.

**Quality Control Procedures**:
1. Implement and follow quality control procedures to monitor production and ensure compliance with standards.

2. Perform audits on manufacturing processes and finished products to detect defects or discrepancies.

3. Assist in developing and updating quality standards and testing procedures.

**Non-Conformance Identification**:
1. Identify and document non-conformance in production processes or finished goods.

2. Report defects and issues to management, and help identify root causes.

3. Work with production teams to rectify problems and prevent recurrence.

**Product Sampling**:
1. Select and prepare samples of raw materials and finished products for testing.

2. Analyze and interpret test results, taking corrective actions as needed.

**Data Reporting & Documentation**:
1. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.

2. Prepare detailed quality inspection reports for management and customers.

3. Ensure proper documentation for traceability and compliance.

**Collaboration**:
1. Work closely with QA, production, engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

2. Assist in the training of operators and other staff on quality control standards and procedures.

3. Communicate regularly with management on quality issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.

**Continuous Improvement**:
1. Suggest and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, such as process improvements, new testing methods, and more effective ways to identify quality issues.

2. Participate in quality-related meetings and audits, and help implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

3. Team member for Lean Management Program.

**Compliance & Standards**:
1. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, such as HALAL, MESTI, GMP, HACCP and other industry-specific standards.

2. Monitor adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations during the inspection process.

**Equipment Calibration & Maintenance**:
1. To assist Production Supervisor in calibration & maintenance (if needed).

2. Ensure that inspection tools and equipment are calibrated, maintained, and properly stored.

3. Report any defective or malfunctioning inspection equipment and assist in arranging repairs or replacements.

**Corrective Action Follow-up**:
1. Follow up on corrective actions taken to address non-conformity and ensure that solutions are effective.

2. Monitor the impact of improvements on overall product quality.

**Education Requirements**

1. Related study in Food Science / Food Technology (Diploma or Adv Diploma or equivalent).

2. Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in food manufacturing, production is an added advantage.

3. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

4. Posses valid Malaysia driving license & own transportation.

5. Able to work at Nilai Impian, Negeri Sembilan.

**Leadership Skill Required**

1. Provide training to operators on product standard and requirement expectations.

2. Aware of production daily planning & output result and ensuring production processes are executed as scheduled.

3. Able to lead operators to follow & monitor their task to meet production output.

4. Regularly communicate with upper management regarding issues affecting production.

**Skills Required**:
1. Able to work with tight deadlines.

2. DELAY attitude is not suitable for this job.

3. Organised person and posses high inter-personal skill.

4. Attention to detail is crucial for this position.

5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

6. Able to write and converse in English for any presentation to customer.

7. Working hours 6am to 3pm OR 11am to 8pm. 3 hours OT is allowed after half an hour office hour ended. (rotation between team member is COMPULSORY).

8. Microsoft Office - Intermediate Level is required.

9. Willing to be placed to other unit / department (on-job training) within the company to gain product & market knowledge for better understanding Tishas product.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods during inspections.
- Willingness to work in different environments, including production floors.

**Additional Notes**
- This position may require shift work or overtime, depending on production schedules.
- Must adhere to company safety protocols and wear protective equipment as necessary.
