**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**Lead and manage the data science team to**:

- Manage the data science workload, priorities work and tasks for the team.
- Create various machine learning-based tools or processes by interpreting and analyzing data from multiple sources.
- Have strong business acumen, as well as an ability to communicate findings, and mine vast amounts of data for useful insights.
- Use these insights to influence the business’s approach or help clients to solve business challenges.
- Able to extract and analyze data from multiple sources and angles, looking for trends that highlight problems opportunities.
- Communicate important information and insights to business leaders and make recommendations to adapt existing business strategies.

**Data Modelling & Analyses**
- Lead the data science team.
- Technical review and validation of models done by other data scientists.
- Execute data mining steps from data preparation, modelling & interpretation (data mining, predictive analytics and reporting by using advanced tools such as, R, KXEN or others or any related ETL tool)
- Do manipulation of data architecture / warehouses, creating complex new variables
- Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
- Design, test, and implement descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive studies using appropriate machine learning and data science techniques.

**Create client value through Business Insight generation - Turning insights to action.**
- Validate technical accuracy and business values of insights.
- Engage in the delivery of analytics assignments for clients involving, amongst others: segmentation, churn prediction, cross & up sell, forecasting, predictive asset maintenance, optimization.

**Business Development**
- For Proof-of-concept Deliverables, final and appropriate data science approaches and methods

**Team Work / lead**
- Collaborate with several other teams and roles across the business on requirements gathering and solution deployment.
- Contribute to the building and management of the analytics infrastructure.
- University Degree in math, statistics, computer science or any related field
- At least 3 - 5 years working experience in data mining, developing custom data models, machine learning and data science.
- Experience in using advanced tools such as R, KXEN or other that is related to ETL tool
- Have strong business acumen, as well as an ability to communicate findings, and mine vast amounts of data for useful insights.
- Able to extract and analyze data from multiple sources and angles, looking for trends that highlight problems opportunities.
- Good leadership skills

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
