1) To review and comment Welding Book (WPS/PQR, Weld Map) with reference to the construction drawing (s), qualification Code and project specification. Legend: WPS/PQR - Welding Procedure Specification / Procedure Qualification Record)
2) To review and comment Welder Performance Qualification with reference to the qualification Code and project specification.
3) To review and comment NDT (non-destructive testing) Procedures with reference to the construction Code and project specification. Legend: NDT such as RT (radiographic testing), UT (ultrasonic testing), MT (magnetic particle testing), PT (liquid penetrant testing)
4) To review and comment NDT Operator(s) qualification / certification with reference to the qualification Code and project specification.
5) To review and comment PAMI (positive alloy material identification) Procedure with reference to the construction Code and project specification.
6) To review and comment Hardness Testing Procedure with reference to the construction Code and project specification.
7) To review and comment PWHT (post weld heat treatment) Procedure with reference to the construction Code and project specification.
8) To attend any other task(s) within capability, as and when assigned by immediate Superior / Manager.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Familiar with qualification Code for welding (such as ASME Sect. IX, API RP 582), and laboratory testing such as tensile, bend, notch toughness, hardness testing and chemical analysis.
- Familiar with construction Code for pressure vessels and / or piping (such as ASME Section VIll Division 1, ASME B31.3).
- Familiar with fabrication processes / sequences for pressure vessels and / or piping such as marking, cutting, fit up (weld preparation - butt joint, fillet joint), welding (butt weld, fillet weld, overlay weld), NDT, PWHT, hydrostatic testing.
- Familiar with welding processes such as SAW (submerged arc welding), SMAW (shield metal arc welding), GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding), FCAW (flux cored arc welding).
- Familiar with ND T methods as mentioned in item (3) above; and PAMI.
- Familiar with qualification Code for NDT (such as ASME Sect. V).
- Personal qualification CSWP 3.1 Welding Inspector (or equivalent) as minimum.
