_**Duties & Responsibilities**:_
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for components and materials required for our products.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers and manage existing supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and cost savings.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Operations, to identify and address supply chain risks and opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels and lead times, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing inventory carrying costs.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and working with suppliers to address any issues.
- Collaborate with the Logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components and materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier and inventory databases.
- Participate in regular supplier performance reviews and annual supplier evaluations.
- Stay informed of industry trends and developments and share insights with the wider business.
- **REQUIREMENT & COMPETENCIES**:_
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a Buyer role in the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with semiconductor industry standards and quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain management software, such as SAP.
- Familiarity with semiconductor industry supply chain trends and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
