**Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following**:
- **Lead team to drive strategies to deliver high performance against Supplier Quality objectives. Ownership to drive supplier quality improvement actions**
- **Work with strategic sourcing staff to ensure supplier development plans address materials quality requirements**
- **Drive supplier quality management process collaboration, and consistent supplier quality management process execution across relevant sites globally**
- **Provide services to deploy risk assessment, supplier qualification assessment, process quality audit. Compliance to Celestica and customer specifications.**
- **Drives first article approvals in compliance with Celestica and customer-specified standards or requirements**
- **Maintain standard processes for supplier quality management activities; including PCN, waivers, 8D problem resolution, qualification and audits.**
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**:
- **Excellent knowledge of applicable quality management systems and processes (i.e ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, ISO14001, ANSI/ESD, etc.)**
- **Knowledge of customer contracts, contractual obligations, as they related to supplier quality, and experience managing these contract terms**
- **Broad knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials, manufacturing and business processes**
- **Track record of supplier quality improvement, and a working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma**
- **Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills.**
- **Ability to establish department goals and coordinate a wide variety of resources to meet quality and quantity metrics.**
- **Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.**
- **Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.**
- **Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production within tight time deadlines**
