**Physiotherapy Services**:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine physical conditions and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
- Utilize various physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy modalities, and laser therapy.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate clients on treatment plans and safety strategies.

**Clinical Leadership**:

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and patient-centered care.
- Participate in case conferences, clinical rounds, and team meetings to discuss patient management
- Contribute to the development and review of clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in physiotherapy to inform clinical practice.

**Operation Theater Support**:
i. **Assist in Preoperative Planning**:

- Participate in preoperative assessments to understand patient needs and surgical plans.
- Collaborate with surgeons and pain management specialist to develop strategies for optimal patient positioning and handling.

ii. **Intraoperative Support**:

- Provide clinical support in the operation theater during surgical procedures requiring physiotherapy expertise.
- Assist surgical teams with patient positioning to optimize surgical access and prevent intraoperative complications.
- Facilitate safe transfer and movement of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and operation theater protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
- Monitor patients’ physical status during surgery and alert the team to any concerns.

iii. **Postoperative Care**:

- Contribute to immediate postoperative management, focusing on early mobilization.
- Advise on techniques to minimize the risk of musculoskeletal injuries to patients during recovery.
- Develop postoperative physiotherapy plans to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.

iv. **Equipment Management**:

- Assist in the selection and setup of physiotherapy equipment needed in the operation theater.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and meets safety standards.

**Training and Mentorship: (Training will be provided)**
- Design and deliver training programs for our current and future clients (physiotherapy staff, interns, and students)
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior physiotherapists to enhance clinical competencies.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and continuous professional development activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

**Quality Improvement**:

- Engage in quality assurance activities to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in audits, research projects, and outcome measurements.
- Implement strategies to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and safety within the department and operation theater.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
- Manage scheduling and resource allocation for training programs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

**Community Engagement**:

- Participate in community outreach programs to promote physiotherapy services.
- Collaborate with external organizations for joint initiatives and partnerships.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Diploma, Degree or Master’s degree in Sport Science, Physiotherapy or related from an accredited institution.
- Certification in fitness training (e.g., Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) is advantages.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy.
- Experience in providing physiotherapy support within an operation theater or surgical setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or training role is preferred.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in a wide range of physiotherapy techniques and interventions.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach, mentor, and motivate others.
- Knowledge of operation theater protocols and aseptic techniques.
