**Title**:Project Financial Accountant

**Location**:Kuala Lumpur, MY

**Job Closing Date**:31 Marc 2025

**What will you be doing?**

The individual will be comfortable working under their initiative and within a team, being able to respond to tight deadlines and deliverables as and when requested by Management.

**Responsibilities**:
Accurate monthly SAP close out and Latest Thinking Forecast (LTF)-
Project cash flow reporting-
Project Balance Sheet management - focus on Aged Receivables, Accruals, Unearned and Unbilled accounts-
Monthly & Quarterly variance analysis on project forecast and actuals-
Reporting of monthly Backlog, % Completion, Allowances and Contingency-
Maintenance, and improvement to where required, of Project Finance control environment-
Ensure in-country compliance obligations with regards to WHT,PIT etc are met in a timely manner by working in collaboration with other Business Units/functions-
Liaison with local accountants towards keeping a WHT certificate file including full reconciliation-
Assist on other Tax matters including Tax filings-
Other ad-hoc activities and deliverables as required**What experience would we like you to have?**

**Required Skills**:

- Degree in Accounting
- Hold/or working towards CIMA, ACCA Qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 working experiences in reporting/GL accounting
- Strong in MS Excel and systems skills (SAP)
- Financial and/or Management Accounting experience
- Self-starter with a proactive approach
- Good communication skills
