English Content Writer

**Summary of the Content Writer we are looking for**:

- Skill: Someone that is able & willing to research into a topic (deep-dive) especially in local News & Economy (i.e. Budget 2025 or something equivalent); Ideation will be part of the job scope but will not be the top starting priority as we think it's a natural progression to participate in discussions and coming up with content idea down the road
- Attitude
- Someone that is proactive in learning & asking questions
- Team player + can actively participate in discussions
- Open to taking feedback
- Eager to grow their career beyond Content Writing (i.e. production works)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Write high-quality scripts** for YouTube videos that reflect the channel's tone, style, and philosophy, making complex financial concepts accessible to our diverse audience. You're not just a writer; you're a storyteller who crafts narratives that resonate with viewers from all walks of life.
- **Create captivating content** for social media platforms and blogs, including posts, captions, and responses that encourage viewer engagement and interaction. Your words will be the spark that ignites conversation and builds our online community.
- **Collaborate closely with various teams** - be it with the content team, editorial team, or marketing team. Your role is interwoven with collective efforts, and your input helps shape the final masterpiece. From brainstorming sessions to strategic content planning meetings, your voice matters in the journey of creative execution.
- **Research industry-related topics**, staying informed on the latest trends, news, and updates in the finance world to ensure content relevance and accuracy. You're the compass that guides us through the vast ocean of information, helping pinpoint what matters to our audience.
- **Engage with our online community**, acting as both a listener and a voice. Use insights and feedback to optimize written content and strategy, bridging the gap between us and our followers. You help us stay grounded and connected to the people we serve.
- **Proofread and edit content**, ensuring it complies with brand consistency (style, fonts, images, tone, etc.). Your attention to detail protects the integrity of our message, maintaining the professional standard our audience expects.
- **Assist with various content creation processes**, contributing beyond the confines of your primary role. Whether it's participating in brainstorming sessions, helping develop editorial calendars, or diving into SEO optimization for video descriptions and social media posts, your versatility enhances our collective productivity.

Yes, if you have a degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Business, or something similar, that’s great — but we're more interested in your skills and potential. Show us your drive, and that’ll matter more than the certificate. If you have a **genuine interest in finance and investing**, and enjoy keeping up with the latest news in the industry, that’s a big bonus too.
- **Mastery of English**: It's crucial that you have a strong command of the English language as our content is delivered in English and is designed to be accessible, understandable, and relatable to a broad audience globally. You should be comfortable expressing complex ideas succinctly and clearly to keep our content engaging and free of misunderstandings.
