Laundry Supervisor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
- To be responsible for the linen storage which is expected to cover the hotel's daily requirement per department. Keeping an adequate supply on hand and bringing any problem areas to the attention of the supervisors or Asst. Housekeeper.
- To be responsible for the condition of the uniform of all the hotel'semployees.
- To be responsible for the receiving and issuing out of uniforms.
- Properly account for goods within her linen rooms.
- Keep all linen, properly assorted and stored in assigned area.
- To receive and properly issue only to authorized personal againts proper receipt.
- While evening duty to pack guestroom linen and delivery to the floors linen rooms according to maid's requisition.
- To be aware and observant of damaged linens which need repair.
- Performs related duties as required or requested.
- To assist uniform attendant in the removal of soiled uniform to the linen room.
- To help at uniform counter to receive and issue out uniform during peak hours or when uniform attendant is off duty.
- To fetch and carry articles to from the floors as and when instructed.
- To be aware and observant of torn or damaged uniform and pass them to seamstress when necessary.
- Be responsible for the removal of soiled uniform to the line rooms.
- Keep in close contact with laundry should there be a need for some uniform.
- To perform other duties as may assigned from time to time.
- To be neatly dressed and properly groomed at all time.
- Receiving and counting of incoming dirty laundry.
- Sorting of laundry into categories.
- Sending of dirty linen to laundry.
- Receiving and stacking of clean linen from laundry.
- Counting and distribution of clean linens to all departments.
- Sorting of dirty uniforms from laundry and sorting into departments.
- To keep the linen room is accounted for properly and all linen is stored neatly in the correct areas.
- When the receiving of dirty F&B linen and issuing of clean f&B linen are running smoothly.
- Responsible for Emergency Kits.
- All hotels staff is issued out with the proper clean uniforms when requested.
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
