Assistant Supply Chain Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the procurement process, including requisition management, purchase order creation, and supplier coordination
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality ingredients and materials
- Manage the identification, evaluation, and selection of suppliers for ingredients, packaging, and other products
- Liaise, and build good rapport with suppliers, managing performance and addressing any issues related to quality or delivery
- Review, finalize, and oversee contract documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value enhancement
- Maintain comprehensive records of procurement transactions, supplier information, and contract details
- Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management or any related fields
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in any related fields
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and procurement best practices
- Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- A valuable team player and able to work independently
- Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay
- Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Possess own transport and willing to travel
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
