**Job purpose**

To ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the company's accounting records, including the preparation of financial reports, reconciliation of accounts, and compliance with statutory requirements. The role covers handling full sets of accounts for semi-active companies within the group and assisting in specific accounting areas for larger and more active entities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain full sets of accounts for semi-active companies, including General Ledger, AP, AR and bank reconciliation.
- For larger entities, assist in specific areas such as AP, AR, or general ledger as assigned.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, trial balances, and supporting schedules accurately and on time.
- Handle periodic transactions such as intercompany billings, accruals, depreciation, and bank interest.
- Ensure timely posting of journals, invoices, and payments in the accounting system.
- Prepare and submit SST returns, audit schedules, and tax documents within statutory timelines.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and assist in year-end audit preparation with auditors and tax agents.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records and correspondence.
- Provide accurate data and schedules for group consolidation and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and group SOPs while supporting process improvement initiatives.

**Job requirements**
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, finance, or an equivalent professional field
- Fresh graduate are encourage to apply
- 1-3 years of relevant working experience in accounting, preferably in the construction, contracting, or property development industry, will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with full set of account and statutory compliance (SST, audit and tax requirements)
- Understanding of construction accounting concepts, including progress billing, retention sums, and variation orders.
- Proficiency in Autocount, SQL, or similar
- Competent in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented and well-organised
- Team player with good communication skills
- responsible, reliable, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Willing to learn and and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
