**Job Summary**

To manage and lead end-to-end contract administration, tendering, VO/claim processes, and project cost tracking for assigned projects. This role ensures the team delivers commercially sound, SOP-compliant, and margin-focused results.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Project Tender & Costing**
- Lead preparation of tender and cost estimates, including quantity take-offs and pricing.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor/supplier pricing and competitiveness.
- Negotiate with vendors for best value and compliance with tender specifications.
- Refine tender assumptions, identify risk items, and manage inclusions/exclusions.
- Coordinate with project and design teams to ensure alignment.
- Prepare and review contract documents, BQ, and full tender submissions.

**2. Contract Administration**
- Manage and review VO, EOT, and claims submissions with timely follow-up.
- Analyse contractual terms to ensure proper risk mitigation.
- Chair internal meetings for tracking variation orders and contract issues.
- Finalise accounts with all relevant stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers).

**3. Commercial Monitoring & Documentation Compliance**
- Monitor project cost vs budget variance and report commercial health.
- Conduct feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and cost variance reviews.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve project margins and cost control.
- Prepare monthly commercial reports for submission to HOD.
- Ensure documentation practices meet audit, ISO, and internal SOP standards.
- Maintain secure and organized records for tenders, claims, payments, and contracts.
- Safeguard confidentiality of pricing strategies and commercial data.

**4. Project, Client & Consultant Coordination**
- Serve as commercial lead in internal and external project meetings.
- Clarify commercial terms and resolve disputes amicably with all parties.

**5. Team Management**
- Guide and coach subordinates on contractual best practices.
- Plan tasks and conduct performance reviews for continuous improvement.

**Valued Qualities**
- Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / related field
- Minimum 8 years working experiences in Construction, Contract Administration or similar role. **Interior Fit-out** is an added advantage
- **Project Insight**:Able to assess project costing and margin implications.
- **Team Development**:Delegates task and grows junior capabilities.
- **Risk Awareness**: Identifies and mitigates contractual risks.
- **Stakeholder Communication**:Engages well with clients and consultants.
- **SOP Champion**:Maintains process discipline within team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
