The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Your new responsibilities
- Collaboration in data-based development of innovative optoelectronic products.
- Support semiconductor R&D projects with data preparation & analytics.
- Support the maintenance and further development of data science tools used by engineering team.
- Roll-out of new experimental design method (Bayesian experimental design) in R&D Malaysia&

What we look for
- University degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, physics or comparable scientific studies
- Relevant experience in data science or machine learning
- Profound knowledge in a programming language, preferably Python
- Knowledge in optoelectronics advantageous
- Strong ability to work in teams, high flexibility and motivation
- Analytical skills and rapid comprehension
- Very good knowledge of English in verbal and written form
