**Responsibilities**:

- To process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and purchase according to the requirement.
- Sourcing, get prices for comparison, negotiation, printing arrangement and follow up delivery closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- To place order for the requirements stated in PRs, work with reputable, reliable and fast lead time supplier.
- To update purchasing record (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal database Baan System.
- Prepare report on purchases including cost analyses.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- To review quality of purchased products and insurance coverage from supplier.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and coordinate well with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
- Compliance to GMP, GDP, GDPMD, company policies and practices.
**Job Requirements**
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or relevant field with minimum 2 years’ experience in purchasing.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
- Required skill(s): Communication skills (both English & Malay), Computer literacy, Negotiation skills
- Co-operative, self-motivated, strong follow up and Time Management.
- Able to accept responsibility readily in the work.
