We offer competitive salary and benefits, as well as a working environment where you’re valued as part of the team. - excluding partnerships **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Provide services to support the processing of Capital Market products such as FX/MM, FX Option, IR Derivatives, Bond and Securities etc for the branch - Collect / print deal tickets generated from Front-office systems and dealing Reuters from the dedicated printer(s) in the Department. - Deliver trade confirmation to counterparty on a timely basis and follow up/chasers for outstanding items within stipulated timeframe. - Perform phone confirmation with local counterparty (if necessary). - Prepare manual voucher and mail confirmation / advice to counterparty on a timely basis. - Perform number control and daily statistic for deal records between front-office and back-office systems. - Make immediate adjustment for wrong input data and/or irregular items. - Contact trader/RM to clarify deal details and/or settlement instruction. - Contact other operating department(s) to ensure smooth processing/settlement. - Maintain necessary data files in Microsoft EXCEL / WORD for day-to-day processing. - Filing. - Monitor on daily basis the activities outsourced to our external service provider (FIO Hong-Kong, ISPL India) - Perform Regulatory Reporting - Support Regional team on the AML screening by being Single Point of Contact for Malaysia and Labuan - Contribute to the reinforcement of the Regulatory process and make sure we process our transactions in line with Malaysian and international regulation - Participate in procedures and operations reviews. - Improving Global Market Operation delivery and processing capabilities and enhancing existing products and services features and benefit to meet customer’s needs. - Identify problems and implement solutions affecting the transaction processing system. - Assisting audit related matters i.e. request and enquiry received from internal and external audit. **REQUIREMENTS** - Takes initiative and is results driven - Strong decision making and analytical skills - Ability to manage change and complexity with confidence - Strong team player - Client focused and commercial thinking - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Self-motivated and genuine interest in Banking and Finance - Proficiency in Microsoft office (MS Word, Excel & Power point) - Prior related roles within the banking industry is an advantage **Primary Location**: MY-14-Kuala Lumpur **Job Type**: Standard / Permanent **Job**: OPERATION PROCESSING **Education Level**: Bachelor Degree or equivalent (>= 3 years) **Experience Level**: At least 5 years
