In this role, you will be the Subject Matter Expert in the field of Blending & Formulation within the Chemicals & Refineries segments. Reporting to Commercial Operations Director, you will be familiar with the technology, processes of specialty chemicals, paint & resin manufacturing and support the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate, cost-effective solutions and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products & technology to support the sales process. Serve as a key technical resource for the Asia region. This position is based at Subang Jaya, Malaysia or Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Offering technical advice, consulting, and providing comment to support in early engagement, conceptual studies, FEED, and on enquiry specifications for customers/Account Managers with regards to ABB’s integrated Electrification, Controls, Telecommunications & Digital (ECTD) solutions
- Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
- Offering product/solution/service-related training. Preparing and checking technical articles for publication

**Your background**:

- Engineering degree and 10+ years of expertise in Energy Industry area
- 10+ years of experience as a technical or process engineer
- Experience in Asia Pacific customer base -Chemical & Refinery Industries
- International, cross-BU and cross-division experience, fluent in English
