- Sushi House at Metrocity. Role of supervisor : The objective of the Supervisor is to work closely with the head chef, in leading the restaurant team, to ensure smooth and effective operations of the restaurant. Responsibility - Screening, interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant service crew and cashier - Managing restaurant staff's work schedules. - To ensure the punctuality and record keeping of staff’s attendance. - Inspect grooming and attire of the team, and rectify any deficiencies - To collaborate and work closely with head Chef to ensure a smooth running of operations - Ensure the team is aware of new menus, promotions, other updates that will affect operations. - Managing the weekly cleaning schedule, repair and maintenance schedule for the restaurant - Send daily report of activities to admin accounts manager. - Ensuring that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift. - Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant and kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained. - Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations. - Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service. - Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner. - Ensure the outlet is safe for employees and guests - Monitoring and complete scheduling inventories of can drinks and other supplies. Check stock and requisite necessary supplies - Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire Team Members to meet and exceed standards Requirement - Has experience as cashier - 1-2 years working experience in the same capacity - Good communication skills (conversant in Bahasa Malaysia) - Good time management skills - Management and organizational skills - Able to work on shift - Pleasant personality - SPM/Diploma/Degree or higher academic qualifications in any relevant fields.
