Kardex Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our Kardex Academy Team in the role of Technical Trainer. This full-time position is to be based in Kuala Lumpur and will report to the Director of Kardex Academy in Germany. He/she will be the key training contact person in APAC.

The Technical Trainer’s main target is to increase the technical know-how and competencies of our customers, channel partners and employees significantly, through the delivery of trainings covering all phases of the product life cycle. This includes installation and commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting, relocation and modification as well as digital service offering of Kardex equipment.

Ihre Aufgaben

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct technical training for our customers, channel partners and employees at the Training Center in Kuala Lumpur and customer/partner sites.
- Prepare the training and classroom and follow-up of the training after delivery.
- Control of the training successes and learning progress of the participants through continuous feedback.
- Inspire and lead trainees through adult learning methodology, that includes:

- Engage and upskill a heterogenous group of trainees.
- Build a team spirit during training period to achieve good learning results.
- Deliver presentations and explanation and complement with teamwork and group exercises.
- Resolve conflicts due to different interest, cultures and motivations of individuals during a training course.
- Tailor training in case of dedicated courses for specific audience groups and classes.
- Use Kardex Academy student and trainer material or create the necessary material following the Kardex Academy, professional and didactic requirements and standards.
- Support the Academy in expanding the training offering.
- Responsible for the training facility and ensure good working condition of the training equipment.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Willingness to undergo intensive training to become a Certified Trainer in the Academy and to a Certified Kardex Technical Trainer.
- A technical education with min 5 years of professional experience as Field Service Engineer/Technician or Expert Helpdesk in machinery, automation and control technology.
- Enthusiasm to work with groups up to 10-15 people and to share knowledge.
- Good rhetorical skills.
- Willingness to travel, to a moderate extent.
- Ability to work very independently as only Academy member in APAC.
- Willingness to safely work at heights if needed to explain technical points and correct procedures.
- Willingness to keep learning as product evolves.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Additional proficiency in Chinese / Mandarin or another language will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge with Microsoft office suite and training tools.
