Cardiovascular Technologist

1. Directs Echocardiogram, Holter monitor, Trans-esophageal echocardiogram, Exercise Stress Testing, Spirometry pre and post, Ambulatory Blood Pressure monitor, and Bubble’s test, Stress Echocardiogram to aid in diagnosis of the cardiovascular system.

2. Performs Echocardiogram, Holter monitor, Trans-esophageal echocardiogram, Exercise Stress Testing, Spirometry pre and post, Ambulatory Blood Pressure monitor, and Bubble’s test, Stress Echocardiogram in compliance with departmental and hospital policy and procedure.

3. Train, supervise and conduct a full range of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests including ECG, Echocardiography, Holter monitoring, Stress ECG procedures.

4. Possess a strong knowledge of diagnostic Cardiac procedures

5. Have a complete understanding of all such procedures and an ability to make accurate measurements is essential.

6. Ability to effectively communicate with Consultants, GP’s and hospital staff regarding patients’ needs.

7. Ensure the timely production and delivery of patient procedures

8. Maintains required departmental records

9. Assures that equipment is maintained according to manufacturer’s specifications.

10. Reports any malfunctions as they occur per hospital policy.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,530.11 per month
