**POSITION: Senior Developer and Database Analyst (PHP)**

**Work Location : Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur**

**Duration : 1 years contract (renewable)**

**Locals only**

JOB PURPOSES:
Responsible to translate the user’s business requirement, and subsequently developing

program codes based on the company’s system technological platform to deliver a more

efficient and productive project or system operation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Primary:

- Involve in new system development and change request for existing systems within the

agreed design, quality, and timeframe.
- Participate in the requirement gathering session together with Business Analyst and

business users.
- Prepare functional and technical specifications based on the user requirement.
- Work closely with the current development team to plan, develop and test program codes

based on development standards and best practices.
- Conduct internal unit testing, system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance test

(UAT) with the business user.
- Participate in the migration to production session (Go-Live) with the team.

Others:

- Develop project documentations for future reference.

KEY CHALLENGES:

- Shifting priorities between critical business system and other supporting system.
- Understand and translate complex business requirements into work products.
- Adopting the fast-paced working environment by learning new programming language,

skills and IT tools.
- Adapt to the fast technology innovation and evolution.

KEY DIMENSIONS:

- Ability to meet department and organization’s KPIs.
- Timely project implementation.
- Suitability of current existing system to the business operations.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Education Qualification:

- At least a Degree in IT, IS, Multimedia Studies, Computer Science, Software Engineering

or related from a recognized institution.

Primary:

- Experience as a fullstack developer is highly recommended.
- 3 - 7 years of relevant experience with the following technology, tools and framework:

- Programming language and databases: PHP, MariaDB, MySQL, Microsoft SQL

Server,
- PHP Framework: Laravel, Zend, Symfony (latest version)
- Web server: Windows IIS, Apache
- Experience in JQuery or Javascript to create a dynamic html page
- Knowledge in financial system workflow and processes will be added advantage
- Intermediate knowledge in database design and ability to create complex queries using

stored procedures and functions

Others:

- Microsoft Office 365
- Repository/Version control software: Bitbucket, Github
- Experience in Dashboard module or reporting tools with database
- Software development/testing tools (i.e. Notepad++, NetBeans, MySQL workbench)
- Intermediate knowledge with development methodology (Waterfall, DevOps, CMMI)

Personal Characteristic and Behaviors:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good team player.
- Experience and ability to coach or instruct co-workers.
- Ability to work in tight deadlines.
- Passionate about the latest technology update.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
