**Responsibilities**:

- Creates erection drawings to be used in both custom and standard projects as assigned by direct reports. Works closely with all key personnel to ensure that drawings convey the correct information and are error free. Provides suggestions for solutions that provide LIPCC.
- Enters equipment lists as needed for projects. Makes adjustments appropriately.
- Acts in a liaison capacity with warehouse to troubleshoot assembly problems. Acts as and reviews with Checker, District Engineer, Corporate Production Engineer or other management personnel as needed.
- Provides training to other district drafters, as needed. May serve as a mentor.
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

**Requirements**:

- Associate degree or equivalent, plus minimum of 5 years’ experience in drafting or other engineering related position.
- General construction knowledge along with ability to read and interpret blueprints required.
- Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations is essential.
- Customer visit experience, or experience at job sites.
- Understanding of database systems required.
- Must have Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) experience work experience.
- Problem solving, organizational and PC skills are required.
- No travel required.
