**Job Title: Event Manager**

The Event Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of key events and activities, including banquet dinners, conferences, trade missions, networking sessions, festive celebrations, CSR initiatives, and other industry programs. The role requires strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to engage stakeholders to deliver impactful events that strengthen the organization’s brand and value to its members.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**1. Event Planning & Management**
- Plan event concepts, budgets, and timelines in line with organizational objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of event execution, including venue selection, logistics, AV, program flow, and vendor management.
- Ensure seamless on-site delivery and a high-quality experience for members, stakeholders, and guests.

**2. Stakeholder & Member Engagement**
- Liaise with council members, committees, sponsors, and partners to align event objectives and deliverables.
- Build strong relationships with members to encourage participation and engagement.

**3. Sponsorship & Budget Oversight**
- Drive sponsorship acquisition, partnerships, and collaborations for events.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare financial and post-event reports, including evaluation and recommendations.

**4. Team Leadership & Coordination**
- Lead and mentor the Events Secretariat team, delegating responsibilities effectively.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure event objectives are met.
- Foster a collaborative, solution-oriented working environment.

**5. Marketing & Public Relations**
- Work closely with the PR and Social Media team to promote events through press releases, social media, and campaigns.
- Ensure branding, pillars, and initiatives are highlighted at all events.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and event management tools.
- Minimum3 to 5 years of event management experience, preferably in associations, corporate or business event-related industries.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale events and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Possess initiative, a proactive working attitude, and result orientation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

**Required Skill(s) / Added Advantage**
- Basic knowledge in G-Suite Tools.
- Added advantage if possessing knowledge of design and video editing.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
