**Main purpose of the role**:
The main purpose of the Costing Executive is to ensure accurate and timely calculation of product costs, analyze cost variations, and provide detailed cost information for decision-making. This role is crucial in maintaining financial efficiency by overseeing cost-control processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting pricing strategies to enhance profitability.

**Specific Role Responsibilities**:
As a Costing Executive, you will be working Monday to Friday,
- Conduct detailed cost analysis for products, services, and projects to determine accurate production and product costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing detailed cost information and analysis to support financial planning.
- Monitor and control costs throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and identifying variances.
- Oversee inventory valuation and management, ensuring accurate costing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Provide cost information and analysis to support pricing strategies, ensuring products are competitively and profitably priced.
- Maintain and update costing systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for cost tracking and reporting.
- Work closely with various departments, including finance, production, procurement, and sales, to gather cost data, streamline processes, and improve cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and accounting standards in all costing activities.
- Other duties, as and when assigned by the Management.
- Good and excellent working knowledge of Excel, formulas, data management, and spreadsheets.
- Quick, fast, and speedy user of MS Office, mail communication, and a quick learner.
- Should be capable of handling product costing under various shipping terms.

**Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience**
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance/Cost Accounting.
- Possess a strong knowledge in Product costing.
- At least 2 years of experience, preferably costing experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Must be competent in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of the ERP and SAP system will be an added advantage.
- Committed and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Good command of English is essential (writing and verbal).

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
