We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Intern/Payroll Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will assist in payroll processing, support data management, and utilize SQL to help generate and analyze payroll reports. This position is ideal for students or early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in payroll and data analysis.
- **Responsibilities**:
Assist in the processing of payroll, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Support the payroll team in maintaining employee records and updating payroll information as needed.

Utilize SQL to write and modify basic queries to assist in payroll data extraction and reporting.

Help audit payroll data to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing information and support as needed.

Collaborate with HR and Finance on special projects and ad hoc reporting.
- **Qualifications**:
Minimum SPM

Basic knowledge of SQL or related payroll software, with an understanding of how to write and troubleshoot simple queries.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- **Preferred Skills**:
Familiarity with payroll systems

Experience with Excel and data analysis is beneficial.

Previous experience in a payroll, HR, or finance role is a plus but not required.
