**Responsibilities**:

You’ll require to establish Project Management Office (“PMO”) for Allianz Malaysia Berhad Group (“AMB Group”) to ensure a balanced portfolio of projects from a company-wide perspective; manage and control project portfolio resources and cost effectively as well as fosters transparency on project portfolio performance to assure operational implementation of corporate strategies. You’ll involve or assist in planning, organizing, managing and controlling the various stages of the assigned medium to high complexity projects in ensuring the projects are executed according to the schedule, cost and quality. You’ll support small changes in system and business process by providing guidance and oversight to the stakeholders and responsible for making sure Agile Team lives by the values and practices of Scrum.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Set policies, framework, procedures and that defines the establishment, management and control of the projects portfolio
- Provides consistent project management guidance, methods, tools and techniques for consistent project outcomes all over the organization
- Prompt coordination with business units, technical team, governance team and service provider on project implementation plan
- Identify and report project issues, slippage of tasks or milestone and project risks to Project Manager and facilitate timely resolution
- Conduct Scrum ceremonies including organizing and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups meeting, sprint review, retrospective meeting etc
- Eliminate impediments and actively address issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the Iteration.
- Provides timely reports on project status, budget spending, risks and issues to enable early visibility into project performance for better decision making by the authorized person or committee
- Promotes and take accountability for project quality, opportunity to improve delivery
- Ensures PMO practice, approach and governance processes are applied consistently
- Manage project changes, ensuring any changes to the project baseline are managed through change request and all impacts are considered
- Adopt an agile and flexible approach to work and an outstanding level of professionalism and conduct
- Management and coordination of all cross-functional initiatives with organizational impact

**Important to your success**:

- **At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.**:

- Good understanding in **Project Management **approach and **project governance **preferably in insurance industry, similar experience in other industries is acceptable.
- Strong knowledge with Agile practices is essential
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure to manage multi-tasking
- Strong judgment, with the ability to make quick, yet sound decisions and follow through.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving environment, with a strong customer centricity and commitment to deliver.
- Team-player attitude, with strong interpersonal skills
- Critical thinker with ability to analyze and synthesize information
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (written and oral)
- A team player and able to manage the relevant stakeholders and ensure timely compilation of deliverables.
- Meticulous, with an eye for details and hands on person.
- Professional certification in **Agile / Scrum Master and/or Project Management** will be an added advantage.
