**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and schedule plant operations to achieve objectives with optimal efficiency.
- Manage various plant functions including process, production, mechanical, engineering, electrical, quality assurance, maintenance/reliability, and more.
- Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to prioritize production and lead operations meetings.
- Protect and maintain plant assets to ensure longevity and productivity.
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for the plant.
- Ensure the effective use of resources for a sustainable operation.
- Monitor manufacturing expenses, analyze variances, and explore ways to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Oversee safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Work with Human Resources and the Union to promote positive employee relations.
- Coordinate with department heads to manage production schedules and raw material flow.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability and minimize downtime.
- Lead and enforce environmental compliance efforts, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
- Foster staff development through coaching, delegation, and performance feedback.
- Enhance customer relations and support sales efforts by addressing concerns and improving product/service quality.
- Engage with the community to promote positive relations and support local organizations.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years of technical and managerial experience in cement production.
- Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree preferred. MBA is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to motivate, direct, and coach teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical and computer proficiency.
- High standards of work ethic and performance.
- Strong focus on safety compliance and environmental awareness.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and direct reports.
- Knowledge and experience with computerized business systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and in varied physical conditions, including climbing equipment, walking long distances, and working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to travel to different plant sites and locations as required.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures and dusty conditions.
- Exposure to loud noise levels and the need for hearing protection.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and work in confined or elevated spaces.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM25,000.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
