Receiving drugs, disposables, stationary and other miscellaneous items in the HMS.
- Issuing drugs and disposable to all departments on weekly basis.
- To place orders for drugs (drips) and disposables at the medical store. Preparing and calling wards and other department to collect their stocks at the medical store.
- Matching of Purchase Orders and Invoices in the HMS.
- Checking stocks at the medical store for physical and HMS if there is any discrepancy.
- To inform the Pharmacist/ Purchasing Officer on the new price increase for the items in the medical store.
- Acknowledge stock requisition from all departments.
- Responsible in keeping records of the Medical Certificate book of the hospital.
- Tracing of Medical Certificate if the need arises.
- Recording of Fridge Temperature at the Medical Store.
- Any problems arising from departments will liaise with the Pharmacist or Purchasing Officer.
- Responsible for all in-house printing and ensuring that all hospital forms are printed and distributed to the various departments.
- Monitoring of stationaries with manual stock card.
- Monitoring of expiry: Drugs and Disposables (HMS & manually).
- Packing of PPE and keeping stock card.
- To follow driver to get loan stock from other hospital when the need arises with the approval from Pharmacist/ Purchasing Officer.
- To be a runner when the need arises.
- Any issue and request arising from other department approval must be given by the Pharmacist/ Purchasing Officer.
- To perform all other duties in the context of the Pharmacy Department and Damai Service Hospital (HQ) in general as and when the need arises.
- To perform all other miscellaneous duties in the context of the Pharmacy Department and Damai Service Hospital in General as and when the need arises including attending to the Head of Department (HOD) when called upon.
