About the Role

Carry out Eagle and non-Eagle Investment operational activities. This role is also expected to participate in project tasks on investment data for investment functions within AIA Group

The Role

Key Responsibilities

1) To create, implement and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP), Data Dictionary & Lineage for “in-scope” investment data. The “in-scope” investment data refer to the data stored in Eagle Investment System and Aladdin System.

2) Complete daily/weekly/monthly BAU activities effectively and efficiently as per SOP. BAU activities includes:
- Checking the pricing jobs status.- Checking and/or update on FX rates, Reference interest rates and MARS prices.- Clearing exceptions in Eagle Pricing Center.- Checking and/update on manual prices and dirty priced security.- Perform price source and price variance validation/checking.- Attend and resolved issues raised during Performance Data Quality Management (DQM) meeting.- Monitor T-day pricing jobs in the evening.- Attend queries raised by respective users via SNOW system.

3) As part of the team, strengthen Data Management practices with focus on:

- Data ownership & control_- Clearly defined Business Data Owners that is separate from System Owners, supported by SLA with Managed Services Vendors and AIA Local Countries.
- Data quality & integrity_- Conduct various pricing check and validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of pricing and market data.- Ensure all the pricing check and validation processes are carry out according to the SOP.
- Data timeliness_- Regular review of system processes vs business requirements to provide timely data- Straight-through processing as much as possible (automation)

Job Requirements:
- Minimum undergraduate with degree in any related discipline- Minimum 6 years of experience, with relevant experience in investment data- Familiar with Bloomberg AIM and Eagle Investment System.- Experience or knowledge in security pricing & market data, reference date, corporate action and transaction data, for an asset management company is an advantage.- Excellent communication and writing skills- Proficient in Excel functions to facilitate file reconciliation would be considered as an advantage
