JR19322 Manager, Global Front End Procurement Operations Program & Spares Manager

As the Manager of Global Front End Procurement Ops Program and Spares team, you will oversee and lead the Global Site Ops Program managers in supporting the overall consistency and effectiveness of the Site Ops Procurement portfolio. This includes supporting Site Ops leaders in driving overall network wide transformation pillars and organizational alignments that will pave the way for achieving Micron objectives now and in the future. You will also collaborate closely with functional leaders and provide guidance to your Team to establish and monitor department performance metrics and oversee functional area metrics to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities. Other responsibilities include ensuring department compliance to company policies and regulations in accordance with audit requirements. You will also be responsible for conveying corporate business initiatives, aligning team and individual goals to business objectives, and driving overall high performance within your team and the department.

**Responsibilities and Tasks**:

- Lead your Team to prioritize and align projects and initiatives
- Ensure alignment of program & Capital spares cost analysis metrics, methodologies, and Procurement business processes within the organization, as well as with those of stakeholder organizations.
- Drive program/project accountability through clear definitions, communication, formal/informal feedback, effective project management and appropriate use of key indicators.
- Develop metrics for benchmarking project methods, processes, performance, systems, and business analytics.
- Actively engage with other cross functional teams (e.g., OCT, Central planning, GP Solutions, GPDNA, etc) on project opportunities and business process optimization.
- Foster team accountability for the definition, execution, and reporting of assigned projects.
- Foster BKM sharing culture and innovatory thinking to achieve success.

**Execute, Monitor/Control, and Close Programs**:

- Align cross functional leadership team and communicate program deliverables to team members and stakeholders
- Ensure that program managers and project sponsors use available systems and guidelines to control and track projects
- Provide the Procurement Leadership team, as well as other stakeholders with timely information and updates on the status and outlook of programs
- Provide guidance and supervision to help team members uncover, document and prevent potential risks and issues
- Identify program project resource constraints and work with Program sponsors and stakeholders for resolution

**Improve Program Management**:

- Promote Program Management value and business practices to the organization
- Evaluate the state of the Site Ops Program Managers Team and structure and adjust development needs to grow and advance the maturity of Program Management culture
- Understand the future needs and guide the development of reporting requirements and solutions that meet the needs of the program and project audience
- Determine and evolve how performance will be calculated and tracked for active projects and programs

**Manage Capital Suppliers’ Spare Cost initiatives**:

- Lead the Global Site Ops Spares team to explore opportunities to realize spare cost reduction programs through data analysis and leverages from network opportunities across HVM sites.
- Accountability to specific Global spares cost reduction goals
- Manage and build Tier2/3 spares supplier relationships
- Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering stakeholders to bridge execution gaps and optimize implementation timelines with external suppliers/service providers
- Develop and optimize cross site BKMs sharing and utilize available reporting data to provide representative assessment of data towards supporting strategic decisions within organization.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Business Administration/Management
- Project Management
- Engineering - Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical
- Production and Operations Management (POM)
- Related field of study

**EXPERIENCE**
Minimum 3years experience in any of the following:

- Program Management
- Purchasing/Procurement
- Supplier/Partner Relations
- Engineering
- Supply Chain
