Internship for It

1. **Technical Support**
- Assist in providing IT support for employees by troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Respond to service desk tickets and escalate issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Help in setting up and configuring computers, printers, and other hardware devices for new employees or existing staff.
- Participate in diagnosing network connectivity issues and assist with basic fixes.

2. **Network & Systems Maintenance**
- Assist in monitoring network performance and ensuring systems are functioning efficiently.
- Help with the installation and configuration of software and operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and security patches.
- Learn about and assist in managing company servers, databases, and network systems.

3. **Software Development & Programming Support**
- Help with debugging code and writing scripts (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
- Collaborate with the development team to support ongoing programming tasks and projects.
- Learn and work with version control systems such as Git or GitHub for collaborative software projects.

4. **Hardware & Software Installation**
- Help install, configure, and update both hardware and software systems.
- Work with IT staff to inventory and document hardware and software assets.

5. **Cybersecurity Support**
- Assist in implementing security measures to protect company data, systems, and networks.
- Help monitor and update antivirus and other security software to ensure protection from malware and other cyber threats.
- Learn about firewalls, encryption, and other cybersecurity protocols.

6. **Documentation & Reporting**
- Assist in documenting IT processes, procedures, and configurations for reference and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain user manuals or help guides for employees to use IT systems more effectively.
- Help track IT inventory and generate reports as required by the IT department.

7. **Collaboration with the IT Team**
- Work closely with senior IT staff to learn about different areas of IT support and systems management.
- Assist with various projects as assigned by the IT team, including research, analysis, and implementation tasks.
- Attend team meetings to understand ongoing projects and contribute to discussions or brainstorming sessions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM499.00 - RM500.00 per month
