**Job Summary: Credit & Risk Officer (FinTech P2P Platform)**
**Location**: Damansara Intan, PJ
**Salary**: RM3,000 - RM4,000 (basic) + EPF, SOCSO, EIS + discretionary bonus

A dynamic FinTech start-up (est. 2021) disrupting the funding landscape via a peer-to-peer (P2P) financing platform. They are expanding their team with passionate and driven talent.

**Role Overview**:
Support the Head of Credit & Risk in ensuring sound credit risk management practices. Responsibilities include evaluating creditworthiness of issuers, monitoring note portfolios, and managing collections to ensure portfolio performance and risk mitigation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Credit Risk Assessment**:

- Assist in developing and implementing risk strategies aligned with SC regulations.
- Conduct due diligence and identify credit risks.
- Prepare credit risk analysis reports.
- **Portfolio Monitoring**:

- Monitor issuers' notes for early delinquency signs.
- Conduct trend analysis and collaborate on portfolio risk strategies.
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with compliance/legal partners on regulatory interpretation and controls.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**:

- Use data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to generate insights.
- Report on risk metrics and propose improvement strategies.
- **Relationship Management**:

- Work with internal teams and external partners (e.g., credit bureaus) to support credit and collections efforts.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in finance, economics, risk, or related fields; OR
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit risk and collections in financial services.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and compliance.
- Proficiency in data tools and credit risk systems.
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- High integrity and team collaboration mindset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
