Data Informatics Analyst, Customer Data Management (CDM) Become an integral part of creating an exceptional data, governance & operations ecosystem by joining the Global Sales Operations team as a APAC Customer Data Management Analyst. Position: APAC Customer Data Management Analyst Team: APAC Customer Data Management Team (CDM) Department: Global Sales Operations Report to: Customer Data Management Senior Group Manager, APAC Location: Penang, Malaysia Our regional Customer Data Management Analysts are the guardians of National Instruments account, territory, and resource data assets across our many systems like Oracle, Data Warehouse, and SFDC by adhering to business rules, best practices and representing the regional needs of their stakeholders to reduce operational friction, enable decision making on enterprise investments and represent the needs of sales data stakeholders. They are also relied on to partner with stakeholders to proactively create and maintain our data to enable enterprise processes and drive sales processes like coverage and compensation. This role also influences future requirements for improvements to our customer data models as well as ensure compliance with data governance policies and resolution of data quality issues. They are key members of the Global Sales Operations team and have an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment highly collaborative environment. As a Customer Data Management Analyst, you will apply knowledge of data policy and analysis and act as a subject matter expert across Global Operations, Sales, Support and Services to govern master data sand ensure enterprise master data accuracy, integration, and value optimization. Core Job Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and ensure professional support for account hierarchies, customer data integration linkages, account territories, reporting and overall governance operations whenever data conflicts arise. Accountable to maintain high benchmark and adherence on customer data governance policies, standard stewardship procedures and best business practices, user guides and other necessary training materials Advise Customer Master Data Manager on related master data issues, identify corrective action items, continuous improvements of the process and provide inputs to developing Data Governance roadmaps and strategies. Collaborate with different functional teams to recommend changes related to account setup and maintenance to improve process efficiencies. Partner with other areas of Global Sales Operations to leverage data to drive key sales processes Communicate timely and professionally to users, management, and senior leadership with repetitive issues Conduct appropriate data analysis to review and audit data elements Experience in managing point-of-sales (POS) data and resolve relevant data issue with distributor is a plus Requirements: Bachelor’s degree graduate or with 1-2 years of experience in master data management and governance related role Good understanding of business data through experiences with sales, territories, quotes, order management and other customer datasets preferred Enrolled in careers such as Sales Operations, Order Management, Data Analytics, Process Improvement, or related fields Strong business acumen and insight Solid analytical & problem-solving skills Process orientation, detail focused, ability to multi-task Ability to work with a team as well as independently Strong interpersonal skills; positive business relationships Results oriented and Self-Motivated Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Effective written and verbal communication skills
