Dietitian

Responsible for the coordination of patient menu choices so as to achieve maximum patient satisfaction.
- Responsible for reviewing progress of patient’s diet from time to time to ensure tolerance and compliance.
- Consults and cooperates with practitioners, nurses and other paramedical persons regarding all phases of normal nutrition, diet therapy and enteral nutrition.
- Conducts Diet Counseling sessions for both inpatients and outpatients that provides dietary guidelines.
- Responsible for preparation of tube feeding regime and conducts regular nutritional needs assessment on tube feeding patients and other critical care patients.
- Records dietary and nutritional assessment in patients’medical records in accordance with hospital policy.
- Establishes and arranges printing of nutrition handouts or leaflets for therapeutic diets.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor Degree in Dietetics.
- Ability to conduct counseling sessions independently.
- Assess nutritional status and prescribe appropriate therapeutic diets.
- Develop enteral tube feeds and ability to plan for parenteral feeding.
- Good communication and teaching skills.
- Three (3) years minimum experience as a qualified hospital dietician with a minimum of two years as a Dietitian
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
