**Responsibilities**:_
- Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve variances through cycle counts and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, costing, and financial analysis standards.
- Track actual vs. target performance through regular reporting.
- Analyze monthly gross profit by product model and customer volume.
- Evaluate material and labor costs by comparing BOM to actual usage.
- Review and support pricing strategies for sustainable profitability.
- Report on cost variances, trends, and KPIs to aid decision-making.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvement efforts.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and government agencies for accurate reporting.
- Support business needs through various ad hoc tasks and projects.
- Participate in system enhancements or ERP implementations related to costing modules.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior costing staff, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- **Job Requirements**:_
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional/financial qualification.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, MIA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in costing and management accounting analysis.
- Relevant experience in costing related area preferably in manufacturing and automotive industry, finance, accounting, or auditing, with a focus on statutory reporting, financial analysis, management reporting, and compliance.
- Well-versed with various costing methodologies, MFRS/IFRS, Companies Act requirements, corporate secretarial practices, Bursa Malaysia Main Market Listing Requirements, and other related regulatory requirements.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in auditing, risk management and internal control will have an additional advantage.
- Pleasant personality, proactive, meticulous, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Computer literate with proficiency in SAP as well as MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is an advantage.
- Capable of multi-tasking, working independently, and being a team player.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
