- Champion and develop a comprehensive range of medical consumables products, with position in the premium value range while competitively priced for extensive and deep market penetration
- Be responsible for all new development projects timeline and ensure product launches are rolled out timeline
- Actively source for local and global OEM/ ODM manufacturers of medical consumables and work with Country Agency Product Development leads to develop a strong manufacturing network
- Work closely with Country Agency Product Development leads in the region as a single unified unit to build the consumables house brand and identify new partnership opportunities
- Develop road map of potential opportunities within and beyond the category using business knowledge, the customers value journey and growth spaces
- Evaluate and qualify manufacturer’s product quality through samples evaluation and trial internally and externally
- Analyze competitor brand’s product specification, unique selling points and price positioning against new developed products
- Lead entire new product development process from manufacturer sourcing and vetting, product specification customization, packaging artworks, pricing, MOQ, regulatory and quality compliance up to product launch in market
- Manage and moderate Manufacturing Agreement contracts with new manufacturers
- Be responsible for the entire product development cycle from ideation & development to registration, including evaluation of pricing and market competitiveness
- Work closely with Regulatory and Quality Assurance team to ensure new product complies to Regulatory and Quality Assurance standards per relevant ISO requirements in the medical industry
- Manage research/feasibility studies/market scan, evaluate findings and prepares information for decision-making
- Manage product improvements or specifications modification post-launch to ensure continuous improvement of product offerings
- Support and execute brand strategy and guidelines
