Procurement Officer

**Job Descriptions**

1. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit.

2. Plan replenishments based on production requirements and other factors like seasonality, production capacity, storage capacity and cost-effectiveness.

3. Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels and manage inventory accuracy.

4. Maintains production schedule and relevant reports or data analysis as required.

5. Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure best value for the organization.

6. Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability.

7. Managing supplier relationships and addressing any issues that arise.

8. Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing and other important data.

9. Implementing procurement strategies and policies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

10. Keep accurate records of purchase orders, invoices and delivery schedules.

11. To prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance, minimum delay and maintain quality standards.

**Job Requirement**

2. At least 3 years of experience in Procurement, Material Planning, Inventory Management or related roles in supply chain operations.

3. Strong oral and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English

4. Able to speak & write Japanese language is an added advantage.

5. Good analytical skills, statistics knowledge and proficient in MS Office.

6. Good organization skill and communication skill.

7. Able to work independently with mínimal supervision

8. Experience ins any MRP/ERP/SAP system is added advantage

9. Must be a creative, motivated and flexible team player, able to carry tasks and projects to completion.
