Esg Specialist

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- **ESG Strategy Development**:

- Assist in the creation and refinement of the company’s ESG strategy and objectives.
- Identify key ESG trends and best practices to enhance the company’s sustainability efforts.
- **Policy Implementation**:

- Implement and manage ESG policies and initiatives across the organization.
- Collaborate with departments to integrate ESG considerations into business processes and decision-making.
- **Reporting and Compliance**:

- Prepare and submit ESG reports, disclosures, and other documentation as required by regulations and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations, standards, and frameworks.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, and regulatory bodies, on ESG-related matters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with ESG rating agencies and industry groups.
- **Data Collection and Analysis**:

- Collect and analyze ESG data to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making.
- Monitor and report on key ESG metrics and performance indicators.
- **Training and Awareness**:

- Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness about ESG issues and promote best practices among employees.
- Develop educational materials and resources on ESG topics.
- **Project Management**:

- Lead or support ESG-related projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve ESG goals.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Evaluate and recommend improvements to ESG policies and practices based on performance metrics and stakeholder feedback.
- Stay updated on industry developments and emerging ESG trends to drive innovation.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.**:

- **Experience: 3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related field.**

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience with ESG reporting standards.
- Familiarity with sustainability metrics and data management systems.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

**SKILLS**:

- Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

**Work Day**: 5.5 days per week, with the expectation to work on Saturdays (half-day)
