**Job Description**:
Position Purpose & Summary:
Quality Assurance Technician

Maintaining various QA measuring equipment to ensure production meets all the quality and customer’s requirements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Able to perform measurement using equipment like Smartscope, CMM, Melt

Flow indexer, Optical comparator, August machine, caliper, height gage,

micrometer, and LPC (Liquid Particle Count) testers.

2. Able to perform programming for equipment such as CMM, Smartscope and

August machines.

3. Familiar with the equipments general operation and be able to review the settings,

connections, verify the problem, and be able to correct or identify the root cause

of the equipment problems.

4. Familiar and understanding of the various SPC charts and controls. Able to

identify process abnormality and feedback to production and QA Engineers.

5. Practice 6S and maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the QA lab

6. Monitor on the qualification (first article) process. Compile and analyse

qualification data.

7. Perform first article inspection, capabilities studies and inspection report

8. Work with Quality Engineers on qualification activities related to the product
- new or change in process, design, materials, toolings etc

9. Prepare data for qualification package

10. Carry out process audit program and inform production of any deviation.

11. To proactively suggest improvement activities.

12. Serve as back-up for Quality Engineer in his/her absence.

13. Adhere to Company and Statutory safety procedures, ensuring safe working

practices at all times.

14. Ensure highest possible product quality and adherence to Entegris's Quality

System, ISO and/or other standards.

15. Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Academic Qualification:
Minimum Technical Diploma holder.

Experiences:
2 years experience in manufacturing environment. Experience with the measuring

equipment such as CMM, Smartscope, August machines.

Knowledge in Quality Control ans SPC are added advantage.

Knowledge:
1. Manufacturing and quality control

3. General quality system (ISO) knowledge

4. Product and process knowledge especially in Molding process
