Specialist - Fp&a

We are seeking a talented individual to join our **Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)** team at **Marsh McLennan**. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

**We will count on you to**:

- Analyze basic financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations.
- Review and conduct simple analysis of financial planning information and reports, by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Conduct basic audit activities, in order to comply with requirements.
- Communicate with management on a consistent basis, to ensure sound fiscal management.
- Assist in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year.
- Evaluate financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns.
- Assist in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; tracks and reports initiatives.
- Prepare financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

**What you need to **have**:

- Minimum 6 years relevant business working experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
- Ability to understand and articulate financial impact or decisions
- Proficient in Financial Management tools as well as MS Office, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly proficient in data analysis and data extraction and manipulation
- Comfortable presenting to regional team members; able to appropriately challenge team
